## Updates

### Add Claim removed from the client portal

Clients can no longer manually enter claim details themselves from the Thrizer client portal. The **Add Claim** entry point on Home and on the Claims page has been retired.

**Who this affects:** clients who previously typed claim details into Add Claim to submit an out-of-network claim on their own.

**What to do instead:**

* If you have a superbill PDF from your provider, use **Upload Superbill** on Home or Claims (available while the feature is still active — see below).
* If your clinician uses Thrizer, they submit the claim automatically after the charge processes. No action needed.
* For anything else, contact [help@thrizer.com](mailto:help@thrizer.com).

Add Claim in the admin tools used by Thrizer support is unchanged. See [Claims and superbills](/help/client/claims-and-superbills).

### Upload Superbill will be discontinued on August 9, 2026

Selecting **Upload Superbill** in the client portal now opens a heads-up notice explaining that the feature will be discontinued on **August 9, 2026**. You can still upload superbills today — select **Continue** on the notice to open the upload drawer as usual. Dismissing the notice cancels the upload.

**What this means:**

* **You can still upload superbills through the client portal until August 9, 2026.**
* **Claims already submitted are not affected.** Superbills and manual claims you have already submitted will continue to process normally.
* **After August 9, 2026,** client-side superbill upload will no longer be available in the client portal. If your clinician uses Thrizer's OON Pay or Thrizer Pay, they can continue submitting claims on your behalf.

**Who this affects:** clients who currently upload superbills themselves — typically for providers who are not on Thrizer.

**What to do:**

* If you have pending superbills from a provider who is not on Thrizer, upload them before August 9, 2026.
* If your clinician is on Thrizer, no action is needed — claims submitted through OON Pay and Thrizer Pay continue to work.

See [Claims and superbills](/help/client/claims-and-superbills) and [How to submit a claim](/help/claims/how-to-submit-a-claim).
