## New

### Raise the session-rate cap for your practice

Every practice starts with a **\$2,500 session-rate cap** on charges submitted from the Clinician Portal. Practices that regularly bill above this amount can now request a higher cap from Thrizer — up to **\$25,000** per session — instead of routing each oversized charge through Thrizer support one at a time.

**Who this affects:** practices whose typical session rate is at or above \$2,500 and whose clinicians hit the charge amount limit in Add Charge. Practices under \$2,500 are unchanged and keep the default cap.

**Why it matters:** clinicians on approved practices can submit larger charges themselves, without a separate ticket for each one. The cap is set at the practice level and applies to every clinician on the team, so the limit stays consistent across the practice.

**What to do:** if your practice needs a higher cap, contact Thrizer support with the amount you need. Once approved, the new cap applies immediately to every clinician on your team. See [Charge amount limit](/help/clinician/charge-clients#charge-amount-limit) for how the cap is enforced in Add Charge, and [Charge clients](/help/clinician/charge-clients) for the full charging process.

One-off charges above your practice's cap can still be processed by a Thrizer administrator on your behalf.
