# November 6, 2026: Send clients a card link

> Email a client a secure, single-use link to add a card for your practice without signing in, and check the card-on-file authorization they accepted.

## New features

### Send clients a card link

Your practice can now email a client a secure link to add a card for your practice. Your client can add a card through the link without signing in to or using their Thrizer account.

* **For your practice:** anyone who can add a payment method for the client can open **[Clinician Portal → Clients](https://clinician.thrizer.com/clients) → select the client → Payment Methods**, select **Send card link**, and confirm with **Send link**. The client needs an email address on file.
* **For your client:** they open the link, read the card-on-file authorization, type their full name, accept the authorization, and save their card.

The link adds a card for your practice only. It works once and expires after 7 days. Sending a new link stops any earlier unused link from working. The saved card becomes your client's default card for your practice, replacing any earlier default.

After your client saves a card through a link, select **Authorization on file** on that card's row in **Payment Methods** to see who signed, when they signed, and the authorization text they accepted.
