What changed

Redesigned Generate Superbill

A single Generate Superbill dropdown now replaces the per-portal drawer across every Payments view. That includes the Transactions hub, a client’s Payments tab in the Clinician Portal, and the Client Portal Payments page. The dropdown exposes two actions:
  • Download — save the superbill PDF to your device. If the currently filtered transactions cover more than one clinician, Thrizer generates one PDF per clinician and returns a ZIP archive containing all of them.
  • Email to client (Send via email in the Client Portal) — deliver the superbill by email to the client on file (or to yourself, when generated from the Client Portal). Multi-clinician exports arrive in a single email with all PDFs attached.
Filter-driven scope. The superbill always reflects the filters currently applied to the Payments view — date range, appointment date, clinician, client, payment type, and status. Adjust the filters first, then generate. Preflight count before you export. The confirmation modal shows how many eligible transactions will be included and how many separate superbills (one per clinician) will be produced, so you can double-check the scope before confirming. The action is disabled when nothing in scope is eligible — for example, when the filtered list contains no successful Self-Pay appointment charges. Refreshed PDF layout. The generated superbill PDF has a refreshed visual layout for better legibility and consistency across clinicians and clients.

New Payments filters

The Payments filter row now supports two additional filters, available in the Transactions hub, a client’s Payments tab in the Clinician Portal, and the Client Portal Payments page:
  • Appointment date — narrow the list by the session date on the transaction (not the date the charge processed). Appointment dates are timezone-aware, so sessions logged in your local time zone stay in the correct day when you filter across time zones.
  • Clinician (multi-select) — pick one or more clinicians. The picker now includes former or disconnected clinicians who appear in transaction history. Historical activity remains filterable after a clinician leaves the practice or a client disconnects from a clinician.
Both filters flow through to the filtered payments CSV export and to the Generate Superbill scope.
