Past updates

August 18, 2026 — Incomplete practices name the exact unmet business fields

Practice Settings and Submit for review now list the specific rows a practice is missing (Business Structure, Business Name, Business Tax ID, Business Address, Practice Name) instead of a generic “missing information” hint, so Practice Administrators can finish setup without contacting support. Read the full update

August 18, 2026 — Plan-specific benefits and registration prompts

Benefit checks and insurance forms now show the reimbursement methods and registration requirements for the client’s actual plan, prompt for registration after linking, and block plans that don’t support out-of-network billing. Read the full update

August 15, 2026 — Assignment of benefits and patient amount paid on submitted claims

Insurance claims submitted from Thrizer now carry the assignment-of-benefits decision (box 27) and the client’s already-paid amount (box 29) through to the payer, so pay-in-full and instant-reimbursement claims route reimbursement correctly and the client’s paid amount is no longer blank. Read the full update

August 13, 2026 — Defer practice setup during clinician onboarding

Clinicians in self-signup can now select I’m not ready to set up my practice on the Create Practice step and return later, instead of being forced to finish practice setup or sign out. Read the full update

August 13, 2026 — Rendering provider now always appears on sole-prop claims

Sole-proprietor claims (no group NPI on file) now always include the rendering clinician’s Individual NPI in box 31 of the printed claim, so payers no longer receive claims with a blank rendering provider. Read the full update

August 13, 2026 — Clearer message when a benefit check hits a temporary payer error

Transient payer failures in the Instant Benefit Checker and Thrizer Widget now show an amber “Unable to check benefits” notice with a Try Again action, instead of a red screen with raw payer text that read like a coverage denial. Read the full update

Staff Members and Clinicians can now download the filtered payments CSV from the Transactions Payments tab and a client’s profile, respecting what each role can see on screen. August 8, 2026 — Upload Superbill retired from the Client Portal

August 8, 2026 — Future-dated claims held for auto-submission, Clients page crash fixed

Insurance claims created with a next-day Date of Service are no longer auto-submitted while the date is still in the future, so they stop coming back as durable rejections. A separate fix restores the Clients page for clinicians who were hitting a repeated “Something went wrong” error caused by a legacy insurance record. Read the full update

August 7, 2026 — Mailing address and Team Owner prompts

New claims now prefer the practice’s optional Mailing Address when it is complete, and fall back to the Business Address otherwise. Sole-prop practices without a group NPI now submit the rendering clinician’s full name as the billing name. The 1099-K error card now names a missing Team Owner directly. The Payout Report Export CSV tags blank Practice Owner Email rows as No Recipient and counts them under a Skipped total. Read the full update

August 6, 2026 — Multi-field business address and optional mailing address

Business address in onboarding, Practice Settings, and admin Business Information now uses separate fields for street, apt / suite / floor, city, state, and ZIP. August 3, 2026 — Elevance Health reimbursement change and invite resend fix

Anthem BCBS, Carelon, NYSHIP, and Wellpoint clients now receive reimbursement by paper check only. July 29, 2026 — Claims can bill under the practice
