Overview
Thrizer issues 1099-K forms to clinicians for payments processed through the platform. Thrizer support handles 1099-K requests manually. Thrizer does not issue K-1 forms or other tax forms. How to request your 1099-K
Contact Support through your Thrizer account, using Help → Message Us. Include:- The practice email associated with your account.
- The tax year you need. If you do not specify a year, Support assumes the current tax year.
How the payee is determined
The 1099-K payee is based on the eligible payee name and Tax Identification Number (TIN) stored for the clinician or practice’s tax reporting. It is not determined by the rendering provider, billing provider, group NPI, or Tax ID used on an insurance claim. If the payee information appears incorrect or is missing, contact Thrizer support through your Thrizer account. Include the practice email and tax year. Changing a team member’s role does not change the 1099-K payee.Which tax ID to use when filing
When completing tax filings with a 1099-K issued by Thrizer, the payer TIN is Thrizer’s TIN: 863015188What to know
- 1099-K issuance is the tax reporting use of Thrizer’s TIN. The Tax ID that appears on insurance claims depends on your billing configuration and may differ. Do not assume the same TIN applies to both contexts.
- Thrizer cannot provide tax advice. For questions about how to file, consult a tax professional.
- For payment and fee detail you may need at tax time, open Clinician Portal → Transactions. See Payments, payouts, and refunds. Transaction exports include gross amount, processing fee, and net amount per transaction.
