Fee schedule before November 2, 2026

Before November 2, 2026. The standard arrangement under this schedule has no monthly subscription fee, minimum usage fee, or long-term contract fee. For higher-volume subscription options, see Pricing overview. For OON Billing, client fees depend on the Reimbursement Method. Self-Pay has no client insurance-related fee. The clinician payment-processing fee is separate and applies when the client’s payment is processed through Thrizer. Insurance reimbursement is separate from Thrizer pricing. A fee does not guarantee coverage, claim approval, reimbursement, or a particular amount.

OON Billing with Check

There is no client insurance-related fee for the Check method. The insurer sends any reimbursement directly to the client/member, so it does not route through Thrizer. The clinician processing fee applies when the client’s payment is processed through Thrizer.

OON Billing with Bank

The Bank reimbursement fee is 1% of the full Service amount. It is charged only when reimbursement of more than $0 routes through Thrizer and is distributed to the client. The fee is not charged when:
  • the insurer reimburses $0, including when an approved claim is fully applied to the deductible
  • the insurer sends reimbursement directly to the client/member instead of through Thrizer
  • reimbursement is delivered by a direct-to-member paper check
The fee uses the full Service amount, not the reimbursement amount, as its calculation base.

OON Billing with Instant Reimbursement

The Instant Reimbursement fee is 5% of the full Service amount and is charged when the clinician successfully processes the charge.
  • If the claim is approved, the fee is retained, including when the approved claim is applied to the deductible.
  • If the claim is denied, the fee is refunded.

Self-Pay

There is no client insurance-related fee for Self-Pay. The clinician processing fee applies when the payment is processed through Thrizer.

Clinician payment-processing fee

Clinicians pay a 3% processing fee when a client payment is processed through Thrizer. This fee is separate from any client fee and does not depend on the final insurance outcome.

Refunds

Instant Reimbursement transactions support full refunds only. Other current Thrizer payment transactions support full or partial refunds up to the original payment amount. Choosing to refund a payment is different from an insurer paying less than expected. A denial, shortfall, changed reimbursement amount, or $0 reimbursement does not reduce your gross payment. A refund you issue reverses the amount refunded.

Referral fee waivers

The clinician referral program waives the 3% clinician processing fee for eligible transactions on up to $2,500 in processed volume per qualifying referral. The waiver applies per charge. If one charge exceeds the remaining waived volume, the waiver does not apply partially to that charge. Client fees and other charges are not waived.
