Signing up as a client

Your Thrizer client experience is connected to your clinician, and that connection starts with an invitation from them:
  1. Your clinician adds you in Thrizer. This sends an email invitation to the address they entered for you. Search your inbox and spam folder for “Thrizer”, your clinician’s name, or their practice name if you don’t see it.
  2. Sign in to the Client Portal using the same email address your clinician used.
  3. Accept the connection. The pending connection appears in your Clinicians list, where you can select Accept. Pending clinician invitations also appear on your Home page.
Clients cannot search for or add a clinician on their own from the Client Portal — if you haven’t received an invitation, ask your clinician to add you in Thrizer. Once you’re in, complete your setup: add your insurance plan if you want Thrizer to check out-of-network benefits or support claims, add a payment method, and add a reimbursement bank account if Thrizer should send reimbursements to you. See Getting started as a client for the full walkthrough.

Signing up as a clinician

Clinicians and practices set up their own account in the Clinician Portal:
  1. Complete account and profile setup.
  2. Complete business and banking setup if you are a practice administrator. You don’t have to finish practice setup on the day you sign up — at the Create Practice step you can select I’m not ready to set up my practice, then sign back in later and select Set up my practice to pick up where you left off.
  3. Add your clients — adding a client sends them their email invitation.
Practice Administrators must submit business information and have it approved by Thrizer before the practice can charge clients. See Getting started as a clinician for the full onboarding steps, or try the clinician onboarding demo.

Not sure which applies to you?

If you’re receiving care and want to pay a provider or get reimbursed for out-of-network sessions, you’re a client — start with the invitation flow above, and see the Thrizer overview for what Thrizer does for you. If you provide care and want to offer Thrizer to the people you see, you’re a clinician — to check which clinician and provider types can use Thrizer, see Who can use Thrizer.
