Overview
Use Client Portal → Claims to view claims that have been submitted through Thrizer. You can also generate a superbill PDF from Client Portal → Payments for your own records. As of August 9, 2026, client-side Upload Superbill and Add Claim have been retired from the Client Portal. Claims already submitted are not affected. If your clinician uses Thrizer, they continue to submit claims automatically. If you have a superbill from a provider who is not on Thrizer, email it to help@thrizer.com.
If my clinician said payments are automatically claimed, do I need to submit anything?
Usually no. When your clinician uses OON Pay or Thrizer Pay, Thrizer submits the out-of-network claim automatically after the charge processes successfully. You do not need to do anything for those sessions. If you just need a superbill PDF for a Self-Pay session you already paid in Thrizer, you can generate one from Client Portal → Payments using Generate Superbill. The export matches the filters currently applied to the Payments list. See Viewing payments and generating superbills.Where do I see my claims?
Go to: Client Portal → Claims Each claim shows Submission Date, Claim #, Appointment Date, Clinician, Amount, and Status. If you expected an automatic claim to appear here but do not see it, possible reasons include:- The payment failed. No payment means no claim is submitted. Ask your clinician to retry the charge after updating your payment method.
- The session was Self-Pay. Self-Pay does not generate an insurance claim.
- Required claim information is missing. For example, missing diagnosis, CPT, NPI, or billing details on the clinician’s side.
- Your insurance is not verified. A usable benefit check is required before automatic claim submission.
- The claim is pending Thrizer support review. Some claims are held for manual review before they appear.

Email the superbill PDF to help@thrizer.com and the Thrizer team can help. Client-side Upload Superbill was retired on August 9, 2026, and manual claim entry (Add Claim) has been removed from the Client Portal. If your clinician is on Thrizer, they continue to submit claims automatically through OON Pay or Thrizer Pay, so no action is needed on your side. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Insurance carriers determine claim approval, reimbursement amount, deductible application, and processing time. Insurer timely filing rules still apply.Claims submitted before August 9, 2026
Superbills and manual claims you submitted before the retirement continue to process normally. You can still view them under Client Portal → Claims.Benefit checks and reimbursement estimates help set expectations. Insurance carriers determine final coverage, reimbursement amounts, deductible application, claim approval, and processing time.
