Short answer

This page summarizes hard product boundaries in Thrizer.

Payment limitations

Thrizer does not support:
  • Splitting one session charge across multiple payment methods
  • Reassigning a completed charge to a different payment method
  • Automatically retrying failed charges
  • Direct ACH or bank-account payment for session charges (charges require a saved card)
If a payment fails, the charge fails and no claim is submitted. Add or update the client payment method before retrying.

Claim and billing limitations

Thrizer does not support:
  • Combining multiple charges into one claim
  • Combining unrelated CPT services into one claim
  • Submitting no-show or cancellation fees to insurance
  • Applying Thrizer Pay retroactively to past sessions
Each charge corresponds to one claim. Each charge supports one primary CPT code; add-on or extension units of the same underlying service may be included with the primary code.

Insurance limitations

Thrizer supports primary insurance workflows. Secondary insurance and coordination of benefits are not supported.

Account limitations

Thrizer account email addresses cannot be edited after account creation. Client and clinician accounts are separate account types and cannot be merged, converted, or repurposed into each other. Thrizer does not offer self-service account deletion — deletion requests must be sent to support.

Team payout limitations

A team has one payout bank account. Thrizer does not automatically split payouts between clinicians within a team.

Workarounds

Some operational workarounds require support review. Workarounds do not change the underlying product limitation and do not guarantee insurer acceptance, reimbursement, or claim approval.
