Short answer

Use Payment Methods to manage the card your clinician can charge through Thrizer.

Where to go

Go to: Client Portal → Settings → Payment Methods You can also open payment methods from the Home quick action Manage Payment Methods.

What you can do

The Payment Methods page lets you:
  • Add a payment method
  • View saved payment methods
  • See card ending details
  • See default status
  • Set a card as the default payment method
  • Delete a payment method

Add a card

Select Add Card to open the add-card drawer. The card form includes:
  • Card number
  • Expiration date
  • CVC
After the card is added, it is saved for future payments.

Set a default card

Use Set as default to make a saved card the default payment method.

Delete a card

Use Delete to open a confirmation modal. Confirm the deletion to remove the saved card.

Failed payments

A charge requires a valid payment method. If your payment method fails, no payment is collected and no claim is submitted for that charge. Add or update a valid payment method before your clinician retries the charge.
Saved payment methods are cards used to pay session charges. A reimbursement bank account (used to receive reimbursement) cannot be used to pay charges. Completed charges cannot be reassigned to a different payment method after the fact — new cards apply to future charges only.
