New features

Add a billing address to certain saved cards

Some clients’ saved cards now include a billing address field. When you save a new card on one of those payment routes, you enter the address on file with the card issuer along with the card details. For cards saved before this change, Thrizer shows a No billing address badge on the card in the Client Portal at Client Portal → Settings → Payment Methods. Select the badge to add the address to that card. The same prompt appears at charge time so it can be added before the charge is placed. Who this affects: clients whose card is stored with the payment route this applies to, and the clinicians who charge them. Most saved cards are unaffected and continue to work without any change. Why it matters: Thrizer saves the billing address with the card so it can be used for address verification when supported. What to do: if you see the No billing address badge on one of your saved cards, select it and enter the billing address as it appears on your card statement. See Adding and managing payment methods.

Updates

More rejection reasons show up in the claim drawer

The claim drawer for a Rejected claim already shows a plain-language reason built from the payer’s rejection codes. Some rejections did not include those codes but still came back with a short status message from the clearinghouse. That status message now appears as a second sentence after the reason in the claim drawer. The client claims list’s Result column keeps the shorter labels. Open the claim drawer to see the fuller reason. The Client Portal continues to show a generic rejected message with no codes or status text. Who this affects: clinicians and practice teams reviewing rejected claims in Clinician Portal → Claims. Why it matters: rejections that used to read as generic now include the reason the clearinghouse returned, so you can act on more of them without contacting support. See Claims and superbills for clinicians.

Bug fixes

Generated superbills use the practice mailing address when one is set

The provider address on a Generate Superbill or Export Superbill PDF now uses your practice’s Mailing Address when it is complete, and falls back to the Business Address otherwise. This matches the rule Thrizer already uses for submitted claims. Previously the superbill used the Business Address even when a complete Mailing Address was on file. Who this affects: clinicians who set a separate Mailing Address in Practice Settings and generate superbills for Self-Pay charges. Why it matters: the address a client sees on their superbill PDF now matches the address Thrizer submits on their behalf on out-of-network claims. See Clinician-generated superbills.
