Transient payer errors now show a retry-friendly message
When an insurance payer’s automated eligibility system is briefly unable to respond, the benefit check result now shows an amber Unable to check benefits notice with a short “this may be a temporary issue, please try again” body and a Try Again action. Previously, the same situation surfaced a red Unable to Verify Benefits screen with the raw payer error text (“Unable to Respond at Current Time”) as the main copy, which read like a coverage denial. Who this affects:- Clinicians running an automated check from the Instant Benefit Checker in the Clinician Portal.
- Clients and prospective clients running a check through the Thrizer Widget.
- If you see Unable to check benefits, use Try Again. Most transient payer errors clear on a retry.
- If retries keep failing, request a manual benefit check by emailing help@thrizer.com.
